'Remains'

Phoenix Arts Space, Brighton.

For the exhibition "Shift Happens" at Phoenix Arts Space in Brighton, I collaborated with artists Sarah Cole and Annis Joslin to create "Remains," a unique prop crafted from the leftover parts of an exploded LazyBoy chair. This inventive piece represents a scuttling creature, blending the remnants of the chair into a dynamic and evocative work of art.

I gathered and sorted additional materials ready for experimentation with design and assembly. Initial images of the materials used to create the piece showcase the dramatic remains from the chair after it was exploded for effect in an earlier moment of the artistic process.
