Max In A Million!
Experimenting with XR and digital technologies.
Developing my creative practice…
Thanks to a project funded by Arts Council England, I've been experimenting within the digital world of 360 film, augmented reality, and 3D scanning. This is an ongoing project which combines my model making and digital skills..
I've had the opportunity to develop my digital skills which include scanning props for 360 film using a professional scanner, as well as a scanning app called Polycam. I also learnt how to use XR editing softwares Mixamo, Unity and Blender to design XR environments for virtual reality, and used Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Adobe Aero to produce interactive QR codes which show my digital creations when scanned.
Using immersive Virtual reality headsets has also opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for my work. Giving me the chance to research how I could use virtual and augmented reality to create a digital world to represent living with epilepsy.
Future plans include aspirations to create a digital XR installation about epilepsy, researching ways that digital and immersive technologies can improve the quality of life for people with epilepsy and those around them.
Please check out some of the things I’ve been creating below. Including a QR code which when scanned will reveal an animated example of some of my work & my Youtube channel.
